Migraine support for when light hurts

Your screen shouldn’t make a migraine worse.

MigraineNest is a design-stage concept for a dark, low-stimulation companion during an attack — with simple comfort guidance, quick pain and medication logging, and patterns to review later.

Built by someone who gets migraines. No bright white dashboard, no long form to finish while your head is pounding.

Use the chapters or arrows to explore one sample attack in place. Every screen stays complete; only the massage guide uses motion.

Why it's different

Built for the moment most migraine apps ignore.

🌑

Dim when it matters

Relief Mode lowers luminance, restrains color, and keeps controls large when even looking at your phone hurts.

Designed for light-sensitive moments.
🫂

Support now, details later

Follow a gentle comfort guide and record only what matters. The deeper review can wait until the attack has passed.

Less to process when your head is pounding.

Notice patterns without obsessing

Compare attack days with everyday days, see what keeps showing up, and treat triggers as clues rather than blame.

Personal patterns, with uncertainty kept visible.
Why I'm building this

I get migraines. I’ve opened tracking apps during an attack and been hit by a bright white screen, then asked to work through a long form while my head was pounding.

MigraineNest started with a simpler question: what would I actually want from my phone in that moment? A darker screen. Fewer decisions. A little guidance. A fast way to remember what happened.

This is still an early prototype. I’m sharing it now because people who live with migraine should shape what gets built next.
